Services:

A multiservice not-for-profit agency, providing services for: caregiver support, home care, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, employment/workforce development, education and youth, and family support.

Eligibilty:

Caregiver Support Services: Manhattan (north of 59th Street); Bronx (entire borough)
Other Services: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Long Island

Fees:

Caregiver Support Services: no income qualification; possible contribution for respite or supplemental services.
Other services sliding-scale, insurance or entitlements such as Medicaid.

Additional Information:

Caregiver Support Services funded by New York City's Department for the Aging (DFTA): information and assistance, individual and group supportive counseling, education and training about the caregiver role; transitional respite services, initial supplemental reimbursement for caregiving expenses.

Serves caregivers of adults 60 and over with functional challenges; family members 60 and over of adults with disabilities; grandparents 55 and over (or family members 60 and over) of grandchildren 18 and under.
