Services:
Our confidential services are offered on the phone, in our offices, in client's home, or at the hospital or nursing home bedside.Our Professional staff of Social Workers and Rabbis:
- Assist patients/families access the medical or community services needed
- Offer guidance, direction, education, and support
- Help patients and families cope with overwhelming feelings and concerns
- Help patients and families prepare for the future
- Provide a continuity of support through the trajectory of illness
- Provide spiritual and religious resources and guidance
- Offer professional and community education
- Provide volunteer services at EOL through our Doula To Accompany and Comfort program
- Partner with professional health care providers to maximize the individualized comprehensive care and comfort of patients and families.
Eligibilty:
Faith-based program philanthropically funded to assist the Jewish community in NYC.Fees:
Primary program services are provided without cost. Bereavement Groups have minimal fees, with sliding scales. Donations are accepted.Staff:
