eCaring Staff Assistant Needed

Company Description:

eCaring uses digital tools and media to make home health care better. The Company offers web-based home health care management and monitoring tools that transform the ability of all players to enter, view, share and use home health care information. The Company uniquely enables a comprehensive digital record to be generated from a home health care situation, regardless of the computer skills or English literacy of the home caregiver. By establishing easy to use records that show baseline normal condition, track trends as they emerge, and respond immediately to urgent situations, the Company can lower costs while improving care quality for home care recipients. The Company will acquire users through both direct to consumer and organizational relationship channels. eCaring is an e-health startup based in NY with funding from a major health care hedge fund.

Role:

eCaring is seeking a special assistant with a Social Work degree and strong computer skills for a p/t (possibly f/t) position.  This individual would have an interest in care management for elderly and disabled patients.  The scope of activities will include:

Reviewing clinical protocols for chronic health and mental health disease management
Researching grant funding opportunities from Federal, State, local governments, and private foundations and preparation of grant applications
Reviewing and evaluating beta program data and surveys and preparing summaries of results
Developing general and target market materials
Preparing work training materials and assisting in trainings
Preparing consumer training materials
Researching and developing content for inclusion in eCaring website

The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with older adults in a clinical setting, a positive track record of securing grant funding, strong quantitative analysis skills, and a natural flair for writing engaging copy for web and print.

Experience in healthcare would be an attractive additional quality. eCaring bridges the gap between digital media and health care information and communication systems. A candidate must be familiar with or capable of learning to navigate in the healthcare arena, integrating our system with a wide variety of institutional, enterprise, public and consumer players.

Working with eCaring means a chance to have a real impact on the lives of over 60 million Americans in home care situations, and ultimately internationally. This is great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a company with enormous potential for growth and positive impact. Our intention is to do for home health care what Apple has done for the music business.

We’re looking for someone with experience, enthusiasm, imagination and energy to use the benefits of digital and social media to have a profound impact on the lives of elderly home care recipients, their families and friends, by transforming home health care communications and information systems.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
